Terms of Service

Canvas Chat is a canvas-based interface for LLM conversations. You bring your own provider API keys; the app stores your canvases and proxies the generations you request to the provider you chose. By creating an account you agree to these terms.

You're responsible for your account and what happens under it. Keep your password safe — there is currently no password reset, so a lost password means a lost account.

Generations run on your own API keys against your own provider accounts. You're responsible for the charges those providers bill you and for complying with their terms. Canvas Chat pays for no inference and adds no markup.

Your canvases are yours; we claim no ownership of anything you put on them or of what the models return. How your content is stored and used is described in the Privacy Policy.

Don't use the service for anything unlawful, and don't try to access data or accounts that aren't yours.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Canvas Chat is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost data, lost profits, or provider charges arising from your use of the service.

You can delete your account at any time from inside the app (user menu → Delete account); that removes your account, canvases, and stored API keys. We may suspend or close accounts that abuse the service or break these terms.

These terms can change; the date at the top changes with them. Using the service after a change means you accept the new terms.
